Thread: Refinishing a barrel

Hi guys, looking for ideas. I have a Steyr with the "mannox" coating / finish. The action is almost spotless, but the finish on the barrel is pretty much worn off. Who / what would be a good option to refinish it? Cerakote? I would like the blued, slightly gloss finish to match the action ideally. It doesn't seem to corrode at all (these barrels are renowed for being hard as $&)&#%), but would like it to look tidier....

Any leads as to what / who?

Cerakote it, midnight blue is the colour that matches rust blue, if in doubt do the whole thing.

Yeah, Mack's guns in Taupo did it for me, needs to be baked on.

You can see how close the colours are, the bolt was not done so the bolt handle is the original blue.
