    I would second the vote for game reaper, especially as its a one piece and you are worried about there only being 3 holes in the reciever. I dont think that the drilling and tapping to add another hole is warranted.
    I have used the game reaper on 270's with never a problem with shifting / loosening, and also run one on a model 7 260.

    Gidday all - nothing wrong with one piece mounts and I agree the Game reaper is a good system. However I like to carry a light rifle with my thumb between the scope and receiver and you can't do that wit a one piece. I was going to drill and tap it myself but the Remmy receiver won't lie in my drill vice nicely so I'll take it into Nelson and Greg to have it done for me.

    Bro just use one screw and some locktite, save your money!

    I have done this, easy job for anyone. Size 31 drill and 6x48 tap.

    I have a set of Talley rings on my older model 7 in .243 which only has three holes and in all honesty there is and has never been any issues.
