    Remington 1187 12gauge issue

    G'day I've just been restoring all things passed down to me from my grandfather and I went to strip this 1187 special purpose and noticed the gas cylinder has a split apart. Also is only operating as a single fire. Does someone have any parts or able to guide me in how to repair myself before I take it into the shop with the rest lol

    Looks like you need a new barrel.
    It might be possible to weld it but need someone with more knowledge than me.

    Yea I'm guessing new barrel to be safe I'm guessing I could weld it just to hold it tight again but unsure if there will be to much pressure and just split again
