    Remington 700 trigger upgrade

I'm in the process of putting together the parts for my custom lightweight Rem 700 in 6.5 Creedmore.
After recommendations on after market triggers. Keen to hear user feedback on what people are using or have used and the pro's and con's of what is available.

+1 for Calvin elite, bit more expensive than standard Timney but very nice light/crisp triggers. Put one on my custom 280AI - brilliant.

Will be very interested in the results of your wee 700 project when you're done @hotbarrels as I've been looking for a very similar action and set up although the difficult thing is getting a donor action in Left Hand!!

Good luck will follow this build with interest...

Have a Jewell HVR in a Rem clone. Didn't bother getting the safety. Excellent trigger but like most now difficult to get out of USA. Mind you, Timney used to still send out not to long ago but presume they have stopped. Mate got one of theirs direct ~ 2 years ago. Hassle free, they just sent it direct. Worth checking.

Heard good things about Trigger Tech. The Timney I had was excellent really... Is the Creedmoore mainly for Hunting?

If so, that Trigger Tech or the Timney will do you nicely.
