Well that's that then, job done. Didn't take long at all and it's pretty impressive that you've started with a stock Remington 700, swapped the trigger and added a suppressor and it's shooting great, three rounds touching. No bedding needed or other fancy stuff. If you're getting those groups prone it would presumably be even tighter off the bench, if anything. So when and where are you off hunting with it? You'll have to do a vid of it in the field!
You should see @Nibblet and I "hunting" turkeys, mirrored aviators, cargo shorts, sports shoes etc.
So tonight I'm shooting it with a nice muzzle brake fitted - I feel like loads of people will want to see that back to back with the Suppressor...
From then on it's probably user enhancements... - bolt knob, drop box mag ...chassis?
... but I'll Probably do a quick summary video of the mods thus far first and then talk about the entended purpose of the rig going forward.
Sounds good to me. I am looking forward very much to it. Make sure you are wearing your best ear pro! This is an awesome real world type experiment. Actually seeing it shoot off the bench would be kind of interesting for comparison. Do you reckon there'd be much difference? Or is that not really the idea of the series?
Boom - next instalment is up chaps.

Nice knob. Keen to see it in a cheap chassis.... Maybe something like a Cadex?
But seriously, with the bedding block in the Bell and Carlson, it would be interesting to see it in a chassis of some sort, and perhaps a standard rem stock?
Would give a good a good indication of what the stock is capable of and how important a decent stock is.
Seemed an effective brake, eyecrometre had it moving feck all maybe 5-10mm.
For me on that rig the suppressor would win, the only beef I have with suppressed magnums in most cases is the barrel length then adding a suppressor to that, makes them pretty long and unruly
Nice series Doc
Hey great series Doc. Certainly tamed the recoil with the brake installed......
So is that the end of the series or is there more to come??
This is the next logical move for me

interesting the bipod was used and not the solid wooden bench shown in the video . . i would kill for a bench like that when shooting groups, bipods are definitely 2nd choice for me . . just goes to show we're all different.
look forward to seeing more vids . .

without a picture . .. it never happened !
Great series, thanks.
How do u find the cheek weld and eye position with that set up?
Looks like a 40ish mm objective and perhaps low rings? (If u dont mind sharing)
