    Rifle barrel to australia

Any recommendation ( price and service ) for freight company to forward a rifle barrel to Australia ?
Import permit for Australia in hand and none required to export from NZ.

Recommendations based on actual experience appreciated.

It will be bloody difficult because it is a firearm part. I have used pack and send on Blenheim Rd to send stocks. Gave up in the end because they weren't telling the freight companies it was a stock and nearly had one returned from Germany on its way to Norway.

I have a copy of the import permit for Australia.
Don't need an export permit from NZ Police and they don't issue them now anyway as they don't issue permits that aren't legally required.
Im aware that it can be a bit of an issue !!!!

Try Schenker NZ. I know a S.I. importer uses them for firearm parts into NZ.

Import/Export permits aside, your issue is getting a freight forwarder and an airline to carry a firearm part, whatever it may be.
