    I love it.

Built a nice 264 WM on a Howa long action, Senator Stock, Shilen Select Match Barrel 26", bit of fluting. Most consistently accurate rifle I own.

Grabbed a Tikka 223 cheap for the wife, lopped it to 12" and had the LOP shortened for her with a Hardy can, she loves it and it shoots 1/2" with aussie outback ammo.

Just looking at something for the rabbits now... maybe a custom or a GRS stocked .22-250AI Tikka with an 8" twist barrel throated for the 75 Amax

Bought a bargain A7 270wsm to play merry hell with and to turn into a short barrel 7mmSAUM...

Liked the rifle as it was. Superbly accurate. Now getting pleasure out of fiddling with 270wsm loads and killing stuff with them.

Yes he has been so encouraging of my idea of a 6.5x284 build.

So I have bought a 6.5x284 barrel and will go from there.

Don't do it unless you go long on barrel length been there now I have a .260AI 10 grains less powder and more speed with same weight bullet.

I want a .257 AI. Other rifle shoot faster or heavier projectiles but I used one for quite a few years before it was stolen. Awesome calibre. I want another one day...............

But it is all abouts wants and not needs. I have a basically brand new .284. Shoots great. But now I find I want a .260 or 6.5x55.....Go figure!

338 edge will mag feed easy
.338 Norma is a cool case, may rebarrel to one when the edge is burnt out
Dont waste your time chasing every last fps, it doesnt matter in the real world, it wont make a difference, all it will do is cause head aches and frustrations. And dont listen to silly old cunts
