    It had never been cleaned and used only on a 6.5X55

    Ase Utra sound suppressors
    Less of an issue with a DPT as baffles unscrew so it can be assessed and cleaned if need be. I only use a 7mm Dpt on most of my rifles 7mm08, 6.5x47, 223 and 270. And have one dedicated 30cal magnum suppressor.

    I rang dpt yesterday for a mate as he wants to put an over barrel 223 can on his 22mag full time
    Dpt said no worries

    Can understand why it wouldn’t be good with the ase cans
    As they don’t have removable baffles so the extra build up of carbon could be a problem
