Thread: Ring alternatives for "oldstyle" Blaser QD system

A Blaser I purchased recently came with a QD scope base & 25mm rings. I figured it would be an easy change to grab some 30mm rings & swap over to suit my March. According to the NZ supplier I have the oldstyle base & rings are no longer available? Some google searching seems to back this up. Without buying a complete new style assembly (Blaser or ebay copy) does anyone know where to source or have some 30mm rings for sale?

I've got some leupold dovetail type type rings that I'm going to machine the end down and tap the end. They are the same base profile as the old style blaser, should work ok. Will post a photo after I machine them up.
