    Ruger seem to be making excellent barrels at the moment, at an excellent price.
    The 147Hp was the winner, group looked much better than the FMJ, no surprises there though.
    With some hand loads 147 XTPs around 980 fps 3.6grains 231win be worth a try.
    Rusa 147's shooting really nice out of my AR9.
    Disconnecting barrel and taking out of battery each time is creating 2 things though. Your first shot in a semi or pistol can sometimes shoot different poi to the following shots. Especially noticable in pistol and why put first into berm when accuracy testing.
    Not that it really matters with this sort of rifle I guess?

    Saw a post where a guy had a VQ trigger working but it went FA after a bit...

    yes but they screw out so easy enough to refit if you want to run a muzzle forward can
