Yup like the look of the mag pull too. Perfect for kidz too. Now I've started looking into this rabbit hole things get expensive quickly!
I reckon I need magpull stock, drop in trigger, carbon barrel. Do I need a special receiver/action bolt etc?
MOA should be easy. Shot a group with all touching off the rest at 50m. Mine still has the BX trigger and barrel hasn't been floated.
Yeah it's hard to beat a comp bolt gun but unless you compete not necessary.
A15 22 uppers are cool, just need to ask KIDD to make barrels for them.

I would take this bad boy over AR15 any day of the week.
Tough question. But I believe so.
This stock (HTA P90) uses standard trigger and barrel, so if you got the good stuff you can keep use them. With the AR path you are stuck with the AR version of trigger and barrel.
The only downside with this stock is that the scope rile is not directly screwed on the receiver, so that may slightly affect accuracy. I havent really tried so I dont know for sure.
Most unfortunately, I think all we got is black version in NZ, only 2 retailers, GC and someone in Welly who is cheaper than GC (but still expensive at $615).
I have found my kidd 10/22 to outperform every other semi .22, and a fair few bold guns that I have tried. The two stage trigger is just next level compared to the likes of Timmny.
My experience with a red jacket bull pup stock had put me off the idea for anything other than a range toy-you can get as funky as you like with the trigger linkage(I even went hydro) and it downgraded things. Given our overall length laws you don’t gain anything there either. Scopes end up way above the bore, something I don’t like for field shooting-this is why my .22 ar is just a range toy these days.
