I may be wrong, but I seem to remember that the Burris signature scopes have a sort of zero stop that wont let you get full elevation travel out of the scope without adjusting something within the turret. Ie it only lets you spin the turret one or two revolutions or whatever it is past your zero stop. I think.
So you'd go as high as you can. Then adjust whatever it is within the turret. Then you can go more up again after that. I think.
