Not saying a good deal on new isn't possible but, with patience, finding a suitable used rifle is likely better value. You could easily find one offered in the classifieds here as nice examples come up frequently.
In your situation my first move would be spending some time scouring for sale rifle ads here.
Anyway, wish you success in whichever route you take. Lotta enjoyment in shopping for another rifle.

And, yeah, go to the Sika Show anyway. It's a great event.

Im heading along. Did last year but tbh i wasn't looking at rifles.
Iv beeen watching TM and on here for a 308 setup. Missed a cple and watching patiently also. I'm happy to pay a tad more for new..hence the question - does the show typically do good rifle deals..
