Happy now.
Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?
Bit underwhelmed personaly.....
Was kinder hoping the SAKO 100 would be a sort of revamped "sako 85 finnlight/hunter/model" with a newly designed action that features a better extraction system plus moves away from sakos mounting system, having a built in picatinny rail like the S20....
Ahh well maybe its coming,, fingers crossed!!!!
Hi team. We are a little in the dark on timing as demand is through the roof. We have ordered both the carbon and wood options for the NZ market. Our pricing is being negotiated as we originally ordered it with a standard safety as opposed to the full de cock.
I have had a play with our sample and am very impressed with the quality. It has since gone back to Finland now than the police have approved it. Once the factory opens the new codes for us to order from, we will know final pricing and eta.
Sorry I’m not more helpful here!
Patience.
Thanks for letting us know what you can.

Switch-barrel rifles have been around for over 100 years, usually of top-quality manufacture and an interesting option for the well-heeled. The sad reality is that no switch-barrel set is as good as a selection of individual rifles that usually cost less and perform better. From a purely practical point of view (the accumulation of nice items aside) multiple rifles in appropriate calibres are always ready to go, no mucking around changing barrels, checking sights, making sure you have fitted to correct magazine, not losing the assembly tool, etc. I am not saying that such things are not nicely made or nice to own, just that they are impractical for NZ hunting. Such rifles would always be assembled in the appropriate calibre before leaving home (you couldn't safely leave your fitted case and spare barrels in your vehicle, nor could you carry the case with you unless you had a bearer) and the chances are that you would stick with one favourite barrel anyway. Merely my observation!
@mcche171 do you know if the action / magazine length for the S100 7 RM is the same as for the sako 85 in those cals ? Is is just one action size at the moment ?
that new blazer looks nice
where's this sako you were talking about
God damn that’s hideous the bolt shroud ruins the whole rifle
