I believe it is the same and is one action length. The bolt has a twin plunger so no need to pull it all the way back as the shell i pulled out threw itself 3 meters across the room!. The one i have played with was a 308 and it was a full mag with an insert at the rear. This was pre production, so not sure how it will be once it hits the main production line.

Unfortunately we may have a wee wait on our hand. We do not even have the codes to confirm orders from factory, so I would expect these closer to/in Q3 at the earliest.

    Thanks for that @mcche171.
Do you know what changes have been made in the action & trigger, compared to the Sako 85 ? (or is it more like another action, perhaps A7 or S20 ?)
What is the big knobbliness on the bolt shroud ?

Completely new everything. New trigger with a 6 position weighting system from 750gr (1.6pounds) and up.
The rear of the bolt has a manual cocking (handspannung system) you can load the rifle and chamber then decock the system. I didnt think i would like it but the sample gun came with it and it was very quick, silent and easy to use.

A bit more info on this link there

Proof that you could put a brand name on a turd and some will still fork out for it.

Weight will be a big factor, I certainly won't be interested if its a hefty beast or if the carbon model is 2x-3× the price and still heavier than a traditional rifle.....
Would be nice to know some of these specs.
