You are correct there, and that's the way I'll go as I already have a Tikka Superlight in .223.
    If I can't find a Sako carbon light.223.

To be 100% honest i am a sako slut. If a carbonlite were to appear in .223 with a 8" twist I wouldnt be able to contain myself

Is the carbon light .223 a mini or small action?

Mini with a 58mm mag length IIRC
T3 a much better option in 1:8 & Waters mag.

However I should say, the 85 Carbonlite in 223 would be a desirable possession for the Sako fan
I have an A1 with Stug carbon stock / Bartlien barrel that's my go to rifle for meat collection.

I've had a couple of Sako carbons, I must admit I'm not a big fan of the fat pistol grip ( I am getting used to my latest though ) & in saying that I would expect them to be very strong ( in an area that can be a weak point on some rifles ) one other issue I had with my mod 85 Mag action 300wm wearing opti's was the action is so long it really limits what scope / position you can mount, shes friggen tight & lastly was the stock felt great with that tacky finish but holy crap mud destroyed it .

One thing with Sako / Tikka though is they take stuff on & improve, while my new 90 can't take opti's it does have an inbuilt weaver style rail so you have more mounting point options, the finish is of a bare - rough texture, my new one being a short action helps but it's still a very fat stock all round. It's a lovely rifle to shot n carry even in the shit weather on a very dodgy steep track Brads, hunts & I were on in the weekend it performed well.

Seems the only pic I have on file are of around the house hunting hahahaha

How different is the Peak 90? I handled one a few weeks ago and for me, the pistol grip was too fat. I have had a play with a Carbon light but it was 10 years ago and I can't really remember much about it. 85 in a carbon stock?
Experience. What you get just after you needed it.

I enjoy my .223 carbonlite as seen in a few threads just cant keep away

Shoots the Belmont black into little groups and i have shot gongs out to 800y constantly. Hoping to shoot the 77tmk next.
Got a vx5 on top and dpt can, It's so far shot fellow, rabbets, hares, magpies, and a couple of goats.

Would be the last rifle I'd sell. I am wanting to build a twin but in 22cm.
