I put sniper tape on the high wear areas to protect the stock and run a DPT,or she would behave herself a A-tec Optima. Which is light and very quiet.

@7mmsaum those are some stunning photos
One day i hope to own a rig just like that. Very nice
They are a bugger to bed if they need it.
Nice but can’t help thinking a Tikka lite in a carbon stock and you are 90% there for less and 1/2 the cost.
Didn’t stop me buying one though.![]()
After watching the videos it makes me want another Sako. The finnlite I had the only issue was the trigger mechanism filled up with fine dust stopping it from firing.
I spent the money and got a neopod bipod for it too . Will weigh it tonight with the bolt in and a full mag and report back . Off to shoot it Sunday
Looks wicked @Nathan F.Will you be using original brake?

Yep , Factory brake
Flappy Disc Customs Bespoke Hunting Rifles
Those brakes make the 7mm bloody awful to shoot. Better to go bare. Or
I use a light weight 4 baffle DPT.
I dont mind them . I had a similar brake on a 7mm rum for a long time and it never gave me any trouble . Just sticking with a brake rather than a supressor as the whole idea was to be super lightweight set up . Im not interested in retrieving any deer past 700 yds these days![]()
I’ve got a carbonlight in 260. Got it off Buzzman who got it off someone else so well travelled. Very very accurate with 147 eld ms. Ejects spent cases ok but not quite as well as my 75 7mm08. Weighs 7lb including a DPT, sako optilocks and 3.5-10 leoplud cds. Hard not to like that!
