Nephew turned up 2 years ago with his first rifle, a Remington 770, didnt want to say anything truthful as he was as pleased as with it and said now i have a remy like yours (mine has one less 7 and another 0). Anyhow take it down the river and it shot as well as my 700!, 20 mm at 100 m. Bolts scratchy and binds so i lap and moly it so it runs freely. Stock rings like a drum when you knock it, so space invader foam to the rescue. Its no beauty queen for sure but it ticks the boxes for some and is accurate enough for hunting purposes. I guess budget guns have their place.
