    The vortex strike eagle 1-6 off my dead ar sits on a ruger now. The BDC reticle works well on any 223 with suitable verification.

    lol whats holdover??? point n shoot and wobbly dies.... can only recall doing the holdover thing a few times.usually the first shot tells me how much to allow,if the wobbly doesnt fall over first....most times I get close enough,250yards without any change to aim works good.

    My .223 has got a NF SHV 3-10 with MOA reticle. One of the best things Ive ever bought. Bomb proof. Reticle fast to use for hold over if required. And dials accurately if need be,
    Micky Duck I dial mine quite often because the heavy (69 grain +) sleek projectiles really do extend the range past what we used to think possible with the .223. Wallabies at 350-400-ish.
