    Check out some of the scope prices in Aus at the moment are not bad. I use a Bushnell LRH 3-12 X 44 its Mils, FFP works ok found them for $1000 Aus other day. Use with Bushnell Rangefinder binos set to meters and gives a fairly close ballistic adjustment for angle etc. Just dial the top and can use reticle for wind. But now I want to up-size and now "need" an illuminated reticle, the arms race to kill better never stops...

    Can you get a vortex viper HD spotting scope? Iv been trying to get one to look at locally for a while now with no luck.

    Hi, Yes we can order them in for you. Delivery is appx 7-10 days, and the Viper 15-45x65HD (Angled) is $955, The Viper 20-60x80HD (Angled) is $1265.

    New VX3 with CDS is only a bit more $$$ than your budget.....thats where Id be heading. Plenty of good second hand scopes for that money coming up around the place. VX3 is pretty tried and true ya cant go wrong.

    Leupold vx 3 3.5 - 10 x 40mm with CDS. Not big and not too small Baby Bear.
