    Nobody mentioned make sure you get the adjustment turret on the right side! Had a brain fart one day mounting a scope & it took a while to figure out why it looked sooooo weird. Dipshit had the elevation on the left & windage turret in the vertical position.

    Ha Ha Ha!! Be a bit tricky with my three turrets but good advice Also make sure you have the scope facing the right way aye

    Mmmmm ok dudes I have a bit of a dialema.

    Went from two piece 30mm optilocks on my tikka to one piece that are about 4mm lower.

    Now I have lost 7 MOA of elevation? Does this sound about right or have I cocked something up? Can still get out to 750 yards but thats not bloody good enough!

    Any advice appreciated.

    Don't worry its a 270 that's 500yards more then you will need. . . . . . 😆

    It is. My point was its changed by 6MOA by dropping the scope 4mm???. Might double check they are mounted correctly tonight.

    lowering the scope will change the angular relationship between sight and barrel so probably about right.

    Shim the rear base on serious note get as much back as you like. The optilocks will keep it aline

    My brain is hurting. So the front needs to drop or the back go up? Looks like one of the screws on the rail at the front are sticking up a bit under the front mount. May be the culprit
