Yeah well it was fine the day we flew in and again when we flew out and the snow didnt quite make it to camp so I guess that counts.

Comparing a vx6 to a march isn't fair size and weight march wins by a mile
My 2-12 vx6 is almost identical to my 2.5-25 march

The march is a class act I love mine

    Just don't drop the march
The vx 6 would win that one

This will be to go on my new longer range hunting rifle but will do alpine tahr trips mainly odd deer trip when I feel like it has to come out as well
So has to have max of 6 at bottom end an 25 or so top end, don't always have it right in but is handy to have for odd time at range with stell tho wont be doing it much with this one anyway.

30mm an 34mm scopes only 50mm front bell or bigger, mil or moa not fussed

Have bigger pmII and premier don't want to go that big size wise an weight wise the atacr is as heavy as I like to go.

    options so far are

    Mark6 leupold 3-18x44
    PmII compact 3-20x50
    Atacr 5-25x56
    March 4-40x56
    Kahles k 6-24x56
    NXS 5.5-22x56

    Options after shot show

    March 3-24x52
Premier......cant find out but have a new line out also Love you light tac an heritage but would love little more mag on the light tac
It is a light weight build but it I try keep scope light them options run out or limit

    Thoughts?
Light weight build? the atacr is over a kilo so your setting the weight limit pretty high.
Id wait and see what Premier have comming out, if its not up to snuff then the new 52mm march. The 5-40 would be ok if they'v added the 1/4moa -.1mm clicks. The .05mill 1/8 version would be a pain in the butt.
otherwise buy now? I think Id take the Kahles.

I'll wait see what pops up like you say something good will. They do a 1/4" in the 5-40 but like you say 1/8 an .05mil less then ideal

And I will be buying another one as soon as the new bugger comes out. Or I could trade the one I have now for 3 or 4 rangers
