Hi Ftx, mine came from Reloaders as well.
No problems with it, younger son has head shot a few goats and the gong out to 240 mtr with it so holds zero.

ok , now I have been a really , really , really naughty boy..... and I hang my head in shame ....
But the volquartsen can hang it's head high with it's leupy VX3i 4.5-14 30mm tube with side focus.....
Which has cunningly been disguised with lens covers and protective tape to remove all indications of brand and the gold line around the bell from someone who doesn't know what they are looking at ( no , I just wrapped the old crappy scope to protect it my dear.....)
I'm going to be in soooo much trouble if she figures it out ....

i bought some camo tape from aliexpress for such emergencies, my main issue is whatever i buy the wife claims as hers
Greetings Ftx325,
Perhaps Ftx325, for our enjoyment, you could explain how a basic 3 - 9 scope of reasonable quality morphed into a Leupold VX3i 4.5 - 14 with all the widgets. I have settled into my chair with a cup of tea to await your explanation.
Regards Grandpamac.
PS Recently I finally fitted the Leupold VX2 4 - 12 OA to the .22 RF I bought it for over a decade ago. There always seemed to be another use for it.
well in all fairness it doesn't have ALL the widgets @grandpamac ,
it's not illuminated .....
I searched high and low locally for a vixen to have a look at without success and couldn't bring myself to order one without seeing one first hand , and on my travels was offered the leupy excellent cond s/hand . It is also the zero stop model so I can set zero for the lighter faster rounds and once sighted for the slower heavier rounds can just dial it between the two without having to remember the original zero , just turn it back to the zero stop .
light , good clarity and the twilight coatings , I just couldn't help myself . I came to the (handy) conclusion that a rifle such as this one deserves a decent scope and I know and trust the leupy's .
And it can be fitted to any rifle in future if for some reason the 22mag is moved on , not that I expect that to happen as I believe it is a keeper , but being a semi you never know what plans are being bandied about by officialdom .
And how did that saying go ... buy once , cry once
And so far not a tear has been shed
until she who must be obeyed realizes what I've done anyway .... then things could start getting a little damp around here
I'm a bad , bad man

I dare say @outlander that her blue sneaker wrapped big toe will probably end up somewhere else .... I will let your imagination decide where that is likely to be....
But lets say that I'm glad I have a nice soft cushioned chair .... just in case

@Ftx325... you really need to watch this 3 minute video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mpK6GcFwPKc
A good job and a good wife has been the ruin of many a good hunter.
I enjoyed that @Hermitage , well spotted .
In my defense I doubt very much I am the only one here who would appreciate that vid....
And I only have 3 rifles of my own and they are each used for a different job , actually make that 4 (45/70) . Oh... And a couple of shotties , and , ummm , there's a bolt action 22 in there somewhere but we were given that so it doesn't count.....
The rest of the armoury are the families toys.... Not mine....honest.....
And even I would be hard pressed to justify having any more.... probably
But there's a beautiful Marlin 17hmr in stainless laminate at my local which would look perfect parked next to the levers....

Geeez people overthink things...
3-9X40 Dusk to Dawn. Sits on 5. Wound up to 9 on the odd occasion for a gawk.
Used on 17 HMR and another on my 45-70(for now).
2-7X33 Loopy on .223.
Fixed 4 on (2) .22s running subs.
Nikko Stirling Airking(20 yrs old) on Hammerli.22
Irons on .308(will get glass for it at some stage. Money tree is well pick over at moment
If too far away, get closer.
No dial up, no Mil dot blah blah.
KISS principle.
Know your drops. Flat shooting is certainly a advantage
