+1 for the vx3 4.5- 14. good allrounder, or even better 2-12 vx 6 or perhaps 3-18 vx6 if the wallet can handle it.

Vortex Viper HS-T 4-16X44... I have 2 both in my hinting rifles(7mm Rem Mag and 7mm08)
Hi @Dreamer, I actually have a third one, a PST 6-24X50 on my 7mm mag varmint that I want to put exclusive to long range. So far the scope has been great to me, nice eye relive, clear glass, a bit "bulky" and for the features "heavier" than the traditional hunting scopes, but, this few hundreds grams of weight don't bother me at all.
Have dial few long shots and the turrets track nicely and "precise" if you have your ballistics sorted.
Overall, I love my scopes and if you don't need a illuminated reticle, just stick with the HS-T as the PST is A BIT more expensive.
Drop me a PM if you have any more questions.
All the best
Got a Burris 4.5-14x42 C4. dials to 1000m fine and holds zero. Low profile turrets etc etc. Cheap and works well.
