Cheers for the input guys. Smith work was done by Lee At MOA engineering. Was his first 28N build so was a brand new reamer used.

Based on what my build will cost, for the bare rifle alone youd have to be looking around 5k ish to build
Add the bipod, the mounts, and the scope to that.
Problem is that now its second hand, and not everyones cup of tea
Still think close to 5k all up would be a bargain.
An off the shelf Sako Carbonlight is gonna set you back 5.5k , and for all that you still get the inherent problem of the ejected round hitting the scope.

Never had that issue with my carbon light.
Second hand sako's will always hold there price better than a custom rifle.

....nope - not with any Sako's I've had..... and I agree with @25/08 IMP - they hold their value better than someone else's idea of what they wanted....at one point in time....

Yep it's sold. For interest sake. I've just sold the scope alone for $2300, and rifle with everything minus scope for $3910. So a total of $6210 which I'm extremely happy with... And surprised to see it sell so quickly to be honest

Well that really is a lot of money that you got for that rifle and you should be happy with that. I think that it deserved that because it was really cool. I am not sure if it is better to buy used equipment for less money or is it better to get the new stuff for a little bit more. For example I need a new monocular and I have found a lot of them on https://www.atncorp.com/thermal-monoculars. They are still not out and I am not how much they will cost and is it worth waiting...
