I see a crossbow is fine so I will suffice with the mighty 243
The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice. And because we fail to notice that we fail to notice, there is little we can do to change; until we notice how failing to notice shapes our thoughts and deeds

I'd rather have a crossbow strung with binder twine using Toi Toi arrows.

Probably still betterer than a poo 4 3

Tell you what. You go round to @tuiman_2 s place and get my 243 barrel.
Next, you go sharpen up as many toitoi arrows as you need.
Finally come on up to the Bay (that's the Hawkes Bay. The ones that gave it to the other pretender Bay on the footy field today) and we can have a pistols at dawn type arrangement. You with your toitoi's of death and me, my soft-ass 243.
    How you like those apples?

Bwaahaaahaaa!!! I can't get hold of the pecker head myself.
My new blaser barrel is in the mix somewhere as well.

I am coming up in Feb for a shoot at HB pistol club and to grace you with my presence. It will cost you some dark home brew for the privilege😆

Toi Toi on the coast grows to be around .40 cal dia, weighs180grns doing near on 1000 fps from my semi auto crossbow so we can have that dual.😆

Deal. @P38 has a spare keg he offered to loan me so I will fill it with the dark brew and the three of us can try and kill it one night.
Abe was off for a couple weeks last time we spoke. Twist his ear for me if you track him down as I have a chopper booked early next month and am wanting my new shooter. Alternatively hook me up some toitoi and one of your jungle spear chuckers.

You obviously want the superior cal so you borrow my 243 if need be.

I was thinking that. I wouldn't otherwise come all the way up just for a wee shoot. Maybe for your home brew tho😆

Bit of tussock country could be productive. I remember Tom mentioning a spot where I chased a few in the machine a few years ago could be worth a look for a stag.

@R93 We could go head to head .................. duelling Shadows style.

Gotta watch that Black Beer @kiwijames brews too............. it's bloody delicious so one is never going to be enough.

    Cheers

    @kiwijames

I'll drop the Corney keg off next time I'm over your way.

Will be getting in a bit of beer drinking practise shortly.

Seems were having a Beer fest at labour weekend .................. all the girls are coming dress as German serving wenches.

In between Beer Drinking I'm in charge of the Fallen Froggies and Brain Haemorrhages.

I'm picking I will need All of Labour Day to recover.

    Cheers
    Pete
