    Shipping a barrel

Apologies if this has been asked. I did try to search but couldn’t find anything.
I have sold a rifle barrel up country and want to ship it. I have sorted the police paperwork, but am just struggling to find anyone willing to ship it. I can go through the dealer network but my local has a base charge of $50, not including what the other end might charge. Does anyone know of a courier company that will ship small items?

Dont even bother to tell the shipping/transport/courier company, dont tell 'em nuttin'! Pack it up in a cardboard tube or a piece of pic pipe, wrap in cardboard and send away. If you really wanna play games, print up a little sticker that says sender is a Motorbike spares co or something similar.

I'm no artist, but it is amazing how many artworks and sculptures I've posted over the years!

Most Couriers cart anything, local sports store uses Courier Post, they don't seem to worry if its not not handed over at your local PO or as today their book shop agents counter. Two local sports shops I use are great, only charge what the Courier charges them.
