Should i sell my Leuplod mark 4 and buy a VX5

i'M currently using a Mark 4 4.5-14x50 mil dot with m1 turrets .I had a look at the new VX-5 with the illuminated cross hairs and i have to admit i like it better , i think its the illuminated cross-hairs thats make it easier on my eye's . Im stuck in two minds about what to do ,so i though id ask you guys for any thoughts or opinions as to which one is better and what option you would choose .

Better glass and lower profile turrets. I’d say if money not a problem then yes

I changed over from Z5 to VX5 Firedot and have not regretted it.

have you set the eye relief on the back of your mark 4?

I did it recently on one of my leupolds that the cross hairs were getting hard to pick up on and I thought I was getting old eyes
now they are sharp and crisp with no affect on target clarity

Go for it, VX5 or 6 are optically very nice and have the hallway light to turn on if you need it.

No its not and only has the TMOA reticle. Ive settled on the VX6 HD 3 - 18 with the standard plex reticle although it also has the illuminated fire dot in the center of the reticle. Might just be a bit gimmicky, the yanks rave over it, so will have to wait and see.

Yea think I Will do the same. But maybe the boon and Crockett reticle illuminated. May also flip a coin between vx6 and vx5 and save a few dollars

    Most definitely.
The FOV and lack of tunnel vision on the VX5/VX6 is life changing.
