14.5" Howa Superlite. Still spits a factory 150sst out at 2720fps. If someone would make a floorplate for them I'd really be in love

    Rem model 7.

All up about 3kg at most locked and loaded.

    7mm08 and it just works.

Neck shot yearling at 255y from Saturday.

For a factory rifle the Kimbers would be high up the list along with the bergara extreme hunters.
The Bergaras are pretty porky though eh? Mine has been chopped to 16.5" and it's nearly 3.7kg with a Z3 3-10 in Talley rings and a DPT with one additional stainless baffle.
Nice rifle just not very light ...

Been trying to sort an easy carry rifle, cheap, all weather, soft recoil , versatile - bunnies, goats & deer within reason.

Chosen Cal - 223 with a up there twist
Got to say some of the rigs & weights shown in this thread are impressive.
    Got me rethinking

The ones I've used with 3-9 scopes and dpt Cans are really nicely balanced and don't seem heavy to me at all. Thats personal preference for ya though

hopefully someone will make one eventually, it was a real fail to not have them come out factory with a floorplate IMO superlight factory rile though and represent great value. you could spend a fair whack more and still not have a rifle of the same/similar spec that light.

@Ryan_Songhurst good speed out a short barrel for the 150s. What flavor of factory? Superperformance?
