What part of the Manuwatu are you based in?

I am in the outskirts of palmy , live rurally.
    That would be awsome thanks.

Ive currently reassemble the 303 and have done some more work inside the forend to see if I can improve the accuracy. Fingers crossed this time she will be better , if not ill have another crack at her.
Ive downloaded the complete guide to accuracy and have studied it so well see.
I will hopefully be taking her down to the "range " in the next couple of dayssss.....

    Greetings @Jusepy,
I see that your Lee Loader kit is quite an early one like mine. The dipper, scoop, spoon or whatever you call it included is likely to be marked 167 for 0.167 cubic inches. The capacity of these works out to 2.74 cc and is close to the current 2.8 cc measure. Most of the powders listed on the instructions will either be long gone or hard to get but Lee does have a chart for dipper capacity. AR2208 (Hodgdons Varget) is probably best to use and the dipper should throw 38.3 grains according to the chart. This is a start load for the 174 grain projectile producing 2,345fps according to the Hodgdon/ ADI data. There is a knack in using the dipper to get the loads uniform. I pour some powder into a cup, about 2/3 full and push the dipper down base first into the powder until the powder flows into it to fill. lift the dipper up level and give a little sideways shake. Definitely don't scoop the powder out like you would getting a teaspoon of sugar for your cup of tea as this will give you a lot of variation. If you want to find the chart go to the Lee web site and select instructions. scroll down to find dipper. My Lee Loader came to me from a departed friend. He had written some notes on the load sheet and the date 23/12/1974. I see it cost $11.95 when new.
