Thread: Someone on here can give me some guidance

I've inherited a Peloi scope. I'm hoping someone on here can give me some guidance before I use up piles of ammo, only to find out what you folks already know.

How many inches (or whatever) does each line represent on the reticle?

Easier to find a neat hundred yards or meters... And put a big ruler or stack of bricks.or cardboard with lines say 100mm/4" apart on it. And just have a look. Try it at different zoom powers. Then try it further back. That's called real world Vs theory.

What Mickey said, and what ever it is at 100, it is twice that at 200 and half as much at 50.

The word for what you are trying to measure is 'subtension'.
