Spotting scopes for $1000 (give or take)

Looking at adding a spotting scope to my kit and would like to get some first hand knowledge/reviews. Ideally with a budget of $1000 can stretch a small amount, currently run Athlon Argos G2 UHD 10x42s so would like something on par to glass at longer range.

    Current short list includes
    - Leupold SX-2 Alpine 20-60x60
    - Athlon Ares G2 UHD 15-45x65
    - Bushnell Prime 20-60x65
    - Vortex Diamondback HD 16-48x65
    - Delta Titanium ED II 15-45x65

Anyone have any first hand experience with either of the listed spotters particularly the Leupold and Bushnell or any that i should look at?

The ax-2 is good, heavy but good. That said, I’ve only had low range spotters until the sx-2

My son has the Delta and it’s not that far behind my Swaro.

Been using the Athlon Ares UHG and very happy with it, compact size and good glass clarity... slight abrasion on the edge but for the coin its on par with twice the price spotters or even better. Your welcome to come sus them out
It takes 20 barrels of water to make 1 barrel of beer...

Have you got any photos through it to see what quality is like? Probably narrowed down to the SX-2, Ares with the Delta at the top at the mo

These photos were taken with an iPhone 8 from 6-700 yards away but transfered to an s24 samsung, the quality of images through a spotting scope is a direct representation of the phones capability. You won't be disappointed with the sx-2 glass quality, but you will need a sturdy tripod to support it. I run the tricer bc and ut handles it well
