    SSRNZ Rifle In 308

I have the opportunity to buy an SSR rifle which is made in NZ. It is one of the 2 rounders, I know nothing about them as there is limited to no info online. What are they like and what are they worth in todays market? Comes with a suppressor and no scope. Cheers

His rifles are pretty good. I had one of his prototypes and shot 10 shot single hole groups at 100m.
Not sure what they are worth, but there aren't made anymore.

It's an interesting design for the 2 round ones, I think the 2nd round sits on top of the bolt and drops into the feedway when you eject the fired case.

I got one of his early ones when it came up 2nd hand. I took it to a gunsmith to have it rebarreled. The gunsmith's comment when I went to get it back was along the lines of "whoever made this probably had no business making rifles" and then proceeded to show me a list of faults (some safety related) with the design and implimentation.

That said, I've been able to have most/all of it remedied. It's been an interesting project and I've gotten a very cool, unique, functional, great shooting rifle out of it. And obviously the design got tweaked over time so I'm not sure the issues I had with mine would be present on any of his later work. Either way, good luck getting any kind of support from the manufacturer since he's dropped off the face of the planet.

No idea what they're worth. They're custom pieces. So something between what you're willing to pay and the seller is willing to accept - there isn't exactly an RRP.
