    Steel putty bolt knob

    Just messed about with a Tikka bolt I had spare... wanted the larger knob.... took about 45min all up.

    Pretty basic boss. Just knead the "quick steel" putty to mix it and shape on the knob. It goes off really quickly but it gets really warm first so you know you have to work quick.

    Once it hardens it's simply a case of sanding/shaping and then a final paint.

    I just used the stone texture paint to give extra grip then shot some clear on it.

    I thought to myself here we go...another muzzle brake on a .22lr type post...but that is actually quite a cool idea.
