    Stock painting advice..

So I scored that mod 7 and really quite like it.. A lot lighter than my sako and will work well in the country I hunt.. I'm thinking of giving the plastic stock a tart up, quite like that matt black/grey speckled look.. Talked to one of our local car painters today and he seemed confident but a little bit hesitant about how well it would last.. Can't find much information on Google etc, so I'm putting it out there to our panel of experts! What you reckon fellas? Got any advice?

Wet and dry sandpaper, Couple of Cans of high abrasion resistant paint or mate with an airbrush... and have a wee look on youtube there's a ton of videos showing good (and not so good ways) to pimp up your stock.

Hey @Biggun708, mate once I've moved and set the workshop up I'll be kicking off my Cerakote work, so if you can hold on a few months I'm sure we can sort something out for you. Cheers Craig

Sounds good! I see you're heading up this way.. Might be best discussed around a fire down the bush?

Discussions and solving 1st world issues around the fire is a very sensible idea...

A special film is applied in a water tank once the object to get printed has been prepared. Looks pretty good imho. Just got another one back yesterday, will take a pic later on. Different colour and pattern.

Tap in hydrographic printing in youtubey and it'll make sense.
