Sounds like the 100 has a few first gen quality/design issues. Be interesting to see the second gen. Early adopters often come across this.
The tikka is tried and true. You know what you will get and that is a light, relatively basic, and very accurate hunting rifle. Good aftermarket now, and decent resale.
The bergaras are another good option, bit heavy and only blued though which is a no go for me in a hunting rifle.
Just buy the tikka. It will work
I went sauer,
bolt stop seems ok
tried to get it to malfunction, it didnt
got a package with a ziess 2-7 and a 20inch barrel , sonic suppressor
i had my last rifle (rem 700) for ten years and only ever pulled it out of the stock for curiosity's sake once , so i wont mess with that
just felt better on the shoulder
Thanks for the advise guys
took it out for a spin this arvo sighed it in at 100 with some cheap cheap ammo, shot a two inch group of 3 at best, no flash out passed the can , very nice to carry, recoil next to nothing(im used to 270),bolt sticks a bit at the front when chambering i hope this will go away with use, sonic suppressor works well hearing protection not needed but gets hot very fast , three groups of three and then needs a rest.my mates running a 308 with a hush power and full lenth barrel and mine is around the same volume i recon i little less even.
il put some hornady down her this weekend at the range and see what happens
