Support for Chris and his ideas

Saw on stuff this morning that Norway is planning a ban on private ownership of semiautomatics and a limit to the no of firearms an individual may own.

There is a huge media bash up on ARs at the moment. I don't own an AR, nor am a fan. But I have researched some of the stuff going on.

Here are some interesting stats from the USA:
    - less than 3% of firearms homicides are committed using rifles, rifles includes ARs (note these numbers even include AR killings). Most deaths are by pistol (around 96%)
    - most school shootings are with pistols
    - most mass shootings are with pistols
    - some will argue ARs allow a higher kill count, the most killed at a school shooting was 33 people, shot by pistols (glock 9mm and walther 22)
    - some will argue that AR shootings a disproportionately high. ARs are the most popular rifle in the USA (~ 7 million of them), so the stats are the opposite - disproportionately low for ARs.
    - some will argue high magazine counts, you can get 40+ round mags for pistols.

Will banning ARs make a much of difference? It's unlikely, ARs does not cover other semi-auto rifles like BARs and Mini-X's. Then you've got pump action/level action options. And the statistics show the real threat is pistols. The USA are never going to ban pistols.

UN Agenda 21, amongst other things, promotes the disarmament of civilians, a theme that will become more and more obvious over the next few years.

"It's not gun control, it's about control."

I would expect to see firearm sales skyrocket if there's any movement to adjust US firearm legislation.

It seems like that the American market is built upon the fear of gun grabs. I don't blame them. It's only a matter of time until the hysteria reaches here in a new manner and a lot more widespread.

The UN do not want us to have ideas so why would they want us to have guns. Communism is alive and well. The UN is just a reinvented Stalin in disguise
