dpt is the best, light, decent sound suppression, adjustable lenght and awesome price. anyone who stripped the threads must have been very heavy handed

Maximus at a length of 17.8cm and roughly 3k rds of carbon build up weighs 440 grams. (thats a stainless steel one)
Spartan at a length of 34cm and roughly 600 rds of carbon build up weighs 360 grams.

The sound reduction has been good but I found the tighter groups, less recoil and less muzzle rise to be the most beneficial

Im very pleased with my DPT on my 308, very light. You can add or remove modules to suit your needs. Yes its Ali but for my boltie its been great. Very quiet with subs and takes away alot of the bang with full power loads.
    Happy DPT user here.

Got a Hardy Gen 4 on my 308. Went for it due to it only extending 8cm forward of the muzzle. 12cm back over the barrel and 290 grams all up.

Cut the barrel to 20 inches and the suppressor basically just takes it back to standard length. One day I might cut it down to 16 for a real small toy.

It's great - about 300-400 rounds through it, no issues at all.

DPT for quality and value by a country mile. The modular ones are not designed for constant high volume use. He says so himself.
Gunworks are falling behind in length and weight. When guys rave about a suppressor (or anything), I want to ask “compared to what”?

I have compared the DPT, Dan’s and Gunworks. For ordinary use, budget and build I will stick with the DPT modular. For straight hunting use and mucking around sighting in and playing with loads a bit, mine gets plenty of exercise.

    I don’t know of a brand that hasn’t had a fail, Eve.
