Thread: Suppressor for AR 300 BLK

OK, mock me all you like (since I normally mock suppressors for hunting rifles) but this build needs one . . . a 300 BLK with a 12.5" barrel that will shoot 99% supers? It won't do a huge amount of work and certainly no mag dumps (unless maybe I get soft in my old age and lend it to No.3 son) I want something that's light, effective and cheap (OK 2 of the three will do) and I like to support NZ made. Thoughts, especially on the Gunworks Maximus at about 150-175 long?

Waitaki, cheap as chips and very effective.

My one sports an MAE over-barrel which I got second hand 30 compact. I have the same barrel and can tell you it works great with subs and supers.

Im just running a dpt with stainless baffle on mine. Works sweet.

Same, Weighty - but bullet proof!! - in 5/8x24 thread as @300CALMAN say's - They built quite a few of these as eval units for the NZ army - designated marksmen unit from memory... run real sweet too.

I've got a DPT over barrel .30 cal with a stainless baffle on my Wyndham 7.62x39 upper - it is a US MIL-SPEC thread and works great.

Will be home mid August if you are still looking.
