If you’re sticking to a one gun for all system, sell both and look out for an Nightforce NX8 2.5-20.

Since you are in ChCh, a 40 minute drive will put you at my place. I have a Z5 3.5-18 and a Delta 4-24x50 that you can compare to your scopes.
At the bottom end I think 5x is plenty low enough in modern scopes and I prefer 5x over 4x on a 22 for rabbits

@Moa Hunter thanks for the offer! will have a think about the Z5 but currently leaning towards the vx6 that everyone's talked about. How do you find the new delta's just out of interest? don't know a whole lot about them at all

The Delta has equal or better glass than the Swaro but is bigger and heavier. The vx6 does not have as good glass as the swaro or delta and has less colour definition but has very good turrets.
