Yip I heard back to an earlier email and have tried a few things that they suggested and have emailed again.
I was told it's best to do a service request via there web site that way your can track where it's at.
It's just a pain to be without them well they get repaired.

Will let you know if I have any joy with what I was provided last nite regarding repairs and service at this end.
Yeah I hear ya and won't be happy if they're away for too long. I use mine a lot and it would suck to not have them for any great length of time.

Happened to my mates Swaro’s as well, he sent them back for repair and they serviced them as well, took about a month from memory?

Just heard back from contact MSL gave me.
Looks like I will get a replacement set while mine are away.
Excellent service from an agent in NZ.
    Stoked.

My neighbor who has a pair of +20 years and used extensively up the Muller Station next to Molesworth Station says they the best ever
He has used his with all other Alpha too over the past 20 years

Says he will have a set in a couple weeks for me.
I am using mine for the next while so won't be without a set for long.
    Might be your loaner pair

I got mine in 2011-12 and they're used a fair bit.
9 yrs for a couple bits of glue to fail isint too bad I reckon.
I actually still have the original lense caps.
Mine have never looked like coming off
