Matsuo Basho.
The main cause of these growths seems to be a fungus but those are a rather crystalline pattern
so is the stuff growing on most coloursteel roofs...
No warranty Micky duck unfortunately. Will take it in to the local shop and see what they say.
Contact swaro nz directly, I would be surprised if they won’t fix it free of charge.

Send it back and give them the opportunity to investigate and fix. They can't help if you don't give them a polite opportunity to do something voluntarily....
I've seen this on camera gear and binoculars a couple of times but you certainly wouldn't expect to see it on a Swaro product. I've always associated this with two things - moisture getting in; and incorrect storage. If correct, this implies the seals are compromised (think old and brittle o-rings) possibly caused by leaving the item in sunlight or a hot place. The sooner you get this sorted out the better however I wouldn't be surprised if the fungus ends up leaving a slight imperfection in the lens.
I once sent a pair of binoculars back to Austria for a service due to compromised seals and Swarovski were great. I had to pay shipping of course and as the binos were not under warranty I recall paying a small service fee, but the binoculars came back like new. It was well worth the effort. I recommend you do the same, and quickly.
Definitely fungus and as others have mentioned caused by moisture and not ideal storage conditions. As it's in the eyepiece I would also be checking the scope body very thoroughly for any signs of fungus.
Thanks everyone. I have Contacted the Nz Swaro distributer and they have arranged for the eye piece to be sent to Austria and get looked at. Very helpful. Will just have to use my camera as a spotter for 8 weeks or so but that is no biggie
