    Swaro z3 3-10x42 brx/brh reticle VS vx3hd 3.5-10x40 cds or 2.5-8x36 cds

Hey team, looking for light weight scope options for a lightweight bushpig build for bush hunting to 300 ish yards and can’t pick between these 3 options - Swaro z3 3-10x42 brx/brh reticle , vx3hd 3.5-10x40 cds or 2.5-8x36 cds.
Always been keen on a swaro as I’ve never had one but want the best option.

What’s your experience and what do you guys recommend.

    Cheers Jordy

Swaro every day if your budget allows. Get “BRH” reticle given your bush shooting (low light ) use. H is for heavy (reticle) holdover marks.
For 300 yds just zero scope for 200, then hold top of shoulder for 300

Swaro z3 over vx3hd any day
However since comparing my z5 to vx5 hd I cannot tell any difference from my eyes and like the illuminated reticle and cds better.

why folks seem to believe you need big scope for a bush rifle is beyond me.....the bottom end having good field of view is 600% more important than good reticle and high magnification at bottom end....
look at any poll this forum has made and you will see by far the majority of animals are shot under 200 yards and the majority of those in bush are under 50 yards.
I recently tried 4.5x14 in the bush and found the 4.5 was still too high and narrow......same with 4x12 the bottom was just wrong, too big and clumbsy for everyday carry.
basic 3x9x40mm is plenty enough at both ends and a 2x7 is better still, some of us have a fixed 4x on main rifle.......
IF I had that amount of $$$$$ to spend on scope one of the excellent low vari powers would get the tick...1-6 or similar. smaller and less likely to be damaged with better field of view....critical for that quick target acquisition so important in the tight scrub.

after posting that...I opened the gun cabinet and did a very unscientifical test...from inside house to front fence is about 25 yards...fence pailings are 8" wide and 1" apart..... fixed 6x can see 6 pailings...my fixed 4x bush scope I can see 10 pailings...and big surprise on 3x the 3x9x40mm can see 11 the cheapest scope in stable..a 3x9x40mm olivon tracker is SLIGHTLY wider than leupold vx1 by about half a pailing...the fixed 8x was hopeless 3 pailings.
