Germans over engineer everything and everyone. That's why their stuff is considered the best.

The Fins are a cold miserable people and suck at their national sport. Evident in their manufacturing as well😆
    Feel better now?
Push the trigger forward? to get the bolt out on that monarch I think. Did it have stars on the bolt?

    I feel great!
I tried forward and sideways and back but it wouldn't move. Yes it had stars.

Really nice rifle and going dirt cheap.
If barrel is good I am keen to grab it.

Some of the BSAs I have come across you just have to hold your tongue right to get the bolt out. Others nothing seems to help. A friend has a 270 Majestic and you have to take it out of the stock to get the bolt out.
Experience. What you get just after you needed it.

Just buy it, barrels are cheap. Yeah they can be a bit individualistic , not German

    Ginga,

I just got an ad email from eurooptic in the states with a sale on Zeiss. Some of the HD 5 scopes are ridiculously cheap at the moment so even with duty way cheaper than you can get here I assume.
Pm me your email and I will forward it to you.

To get the BSA bolt out use a meat skewer or long toothpick and slide under the rear of the bolt to depress the sear boltstop and then just slide it out . Easy.

    Easy?
The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice. And because we fail to notice that we fail to notice, there is little we can do to change; until we notice how failing to notice shapes our thoughts and deeds
