It lives in a sock - comes out of the sock when it goes in the box

Also remember to dry your silica gel satches in the oven every now and then, or place them in the sun. Some change colour from pink to blue whe full of moisture. Once dry you can reuse.
You haven't been stroking your box fur? This can cause dampness

I keep all my die sets, bolts, primers and little bits in 2 large pelican cases with a damphog thing in them - noooo rust

as for the sweaty box routine, are you sure its condensation - one of my wood guns came out looking spotty from the case and it was wood oil being transferred from the stock to the foam and back to the rifle.

Its not dampness in the house or the safe
Its something to do with the case
Open it after say 6 hrs, and it looks like the guns been rained on - its DRIPPING wet
I'd swear the case is dry............??
Its the only case I have issues with - and the only furry one

easy answer.... Get her knocked up = she will stop going to the range and no more worries about her box

Wet gun = bad news, hate to forget about it for an afternoon and have a rusty shooter! flick the thing on TM / sell it with a rifle and get a non-sucky case.

Looking at the main page I think the "untrimmed" thread should be in the firearms an optics thread and sweaty box should be in the one below?

I thought that with age there was a problem with LBL - not dryness, which could be helped by something with wings!!
