Wondering if anyone in here is running a CTR in a carbon stock. How does it handle? Thinking of chucking my one in on of the Hi Tec jobbies.

Are you looking for Weight reduction?
I have one Carbon fibre stock, I done my research but don't recall seeing them with a CTR inlet. I have a CTR and other Tikka rifles
Ran a .308 Win one in a PSE ETAC stock
Only shot 175 SMK really well, but velocity was shit due to the short barrel and the light stock meant it recoiled pretty hard.
Sold it to buy my dog, don't miss it much.
Pretty sure Hi Tec do ctr inlet and aics inlet for tikka. Had one in a std 6.5creed and really liked it. Only changed because wanted more weight for comp rifle

There will be a lot of options if you go to a standard magazine inlet but that's it you are willing to give up the CTR mag.
My Tikka with CF stock and CF wrapped barrel is a fair weight save over a standard tikka light. It's an IBI barrel, larger dia than my ctr and at 26" it is a light carry but the weight in the front has a perception of being a heavy rifle being front heavy.
It's a .280ai, I get muzzle jump on the bench so other than sighting in it is not going to be good on a range session.
I've moved my 223 into a GRS Bi-frost, she's great to shoot but fuk me you'll end up with forearms like Popeye carrying it around @ 6kg - 13lb + empty hahahaha
Shoot it, root it & then BBQ it !!!
I had a CTR with atlas bottom metal on a southforte signature stock. It went really well but it was in that majical creedmore laser beam cartridge. Only shot it to 600 yds but very repeatable to take out of stock and just go back to shooting well.
