Had a fondle of one of these today & it was quite cool
Does anybody on here have one & what do you think of it, Is it worth the extra weight & $$$$ ?

Shoot it, root it & then BBQ it !!!
Hmmm... I had a T3 Varmint in .223.
For what it was, it was good. But I would rather have a sporter than can double as a varminter.
Which I now do. Sako 75 in .223. Same mag capacity (six) and nicer rifle to carry on your shoulder.

Welcome to Sako club.
IMO the super varmint isn't worth the extra money simply for the adjustable cheekpiece.
I was looking at one for a long range rifle, a super varmint just to get the rail and cheek piece. Its still quite a cheap option for a rig.
If its guns, tits or tyres it's going to cost you lots of money
Yep got the 22-250 suppressed which i am running 52 grain amax pushed with 08 grouping 1/2 yo 3/4 inch at 200 yards with a vx3 8x25 lrt and then stuck a hardy cn on it to tke away the bark.
Yeah thats a nice set up you've got andy![]()

Philipo. I had a Super Varmint in .22/250, suppressed with a Mark Four on it. I find my T3 .223 more versatile; but for a straight out long range rabbiter; I'd have the Super Varmint back any day. A mate that had never shot much before shot rabbits at 340 yards with it.
To those with the T3 in .223 is the short mag length a pain in the arse?
Yeah thanks Craig, Thats kinda the way Ive been thinking - a standard T3 ( or similar ) in 223 as a walk around bunny,n,fun gun & maybe something bigger in a Varmint for LR varmints & gong shooting
thats the 2 year plan anyway
Shoot it, root it & then BBQ it !!!
