    It says he is making a carbon fibre barrel for a 10/22, I read that as a standard barrel wrapped in carbon fibre schoolbook coverings.

    Some of the (non ridiculous) rimfire ones seem ok, wouldn't want one of his centrefire suppressors though.

    i like the evasion in his answer for the weight though "Rifle is really light when stripped down to slide inside a back-pack. No body will know it is there, and it can be assembled in seconds for that opportune shot"
    i didn't know that disassembling something magically reduced the total weight...
