The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice. And because we fail to notice that we fail to notice, there is little we can do to change; until we notice how failing to notice shapes our thoughts and deeds

    Thompson/Center Encore® Accessories : Cabela's

Thomson center Encore or contender depending of the caliber range you want.
That is what I recommended for a mate to buy. Once taken apart it stays in a small bag when mountaineering.

    On the contender you could have a22 lr+ a 204 or 223 + a 30-30+ a 44 mag and a 410 barrel.

    On the encore a 223 or 22-250, + a 308 or 270 + a magnum cal and a 12 gauge barrel.

Of all these one which I saw was fantastic for a change barrel system. Price may be out of your budget depending on what you find, but check out the Kreighoff "Semprio" Oh my god. I had the pleasure of handling one and it was absolutely fantastic. the action was sooooo smoooth. Slick and simple. Fast and very very well made. I hat eto think of what it would cost but I am sure it will make those others look like any old rifle in the discount bin.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pcb4w5iTWI4 its a bit long but worth watching.

Hs precision has a takedown option as well, can be done with multiple barrels but doesn't come cheap either.

Guess it was a special order too. Not many rifles would be engraved with Chamois, Tahr and Reds.

Update, got a few prices coming in at the moment, one of the biggest problems, is unable to handle any of the rifles I am most interested in,
Have discounted the BLR due to repeated reports of not returning to zero,
Have a luxus single shot been sent to me for a try, out, not a fully takedown rifle thought,
And think I have a Mauser M03 lined up for a few shots,
Currently, Considering a Verney Caron bolt action, take down in 9.3 x 62, and a second 7x64 second barrel, for $3700 as the best value, repeater.
Sum very nice rifles out there, esp. in euro doubles,
