Same limiting issues with the cds turret on the leupy vx3. I simply asked leupold to engrave the turret with a start at a 170m zero.
Looked though a kahles 5-25x56 525i, sightron s3 6-24×50 both ffp. A swaro 3.5-18x42 and nxs 5-22×50 last night. The swaro was the only 25mm tube but i say the best glass. All on 18 power
Still need to find a March to compare. My issue with the swaro is the sfp. Have screwed a few shot because or forgetting to have things on the right power in sfp. Not an issue if your dialing all the time. The elevation and length i could get over i think. Weight is pretty amazing. 450g vs the March at 610.
See if you can find a Z3 4-12 x 50 Swaro to have a look at too.
Premier light tactical 3-15 would be good also, excellent glass.

I had a K624i, excellent glass... but agree there is something about the Swaros that just separate them. Yes the March I think needs to be on 10x, which is plenty, to use the reticle hashes for POI aim.
Damn that Swaro is light! I like a 100y zero though.
Same 100y zero. Don't want different rifles with different zero's. I would get the FFP March. So good for reticle on any zoom
Just had a look this evening at two new Swarovski Z5i at my local hunting and Fishing in Hamilton, one in 2.5-12-50 and the other 3.5-18-44 , both with the 4w reticle, ballistic turret and illuminated center dot. Really really nice scopes. 2290 and 2490 respectively.

Come look at my March @robhughes-games it’s the model your looking at. I have 2 Kahles K624i to compare and a March Genesis.
Ive got the 42 and i'll never sell it. It focusses down to 3y, its lighter than any other and its as hardy as nightforce. They've been around for ages and im yet to see any complaints about reticles or clicks etc. I find its absolutely fine at dusk.
The only thing i will say is that the 'eyebox' is going to be something that suits just you. Once its set up.
